The first thing we ask when designing a house isn't, what style do you like?
We start with the people: how they live, how they entertain, where they want privacy, what they want to wake up to, and how their life might change over time.
Then we work through proportion, circulation, materials, and furniture.
A style can be repeated.
The way someone lives can't.
If all our projects looked the same, we wouldn't be really designing for the people living in them.
