Years after handover, the furniture moves, the art changes, the objects are replaced.
What remains is the proportion of the room, the way light enters at a certain hour, the quality of the threshold between inside and outside.
These were decided in drawings and sections long before anyone chose a sofa.
They are the decisions that cannot be undone.
The visible layer changes with the client's life.
The architectural layer either holds, or it doesn't.
Ten years from now, no one will remember the handover day.
They will just notice whether the house still feels right.
