The color people remember most is rarely the color used most.
It is the one placed with purpose.
It might appear on one door, one piece of joinery, or one wall seen from a particular angle.
Everywhere else, the palette stays quiet.
Repetition can create rhythm, but restraint gives a color weight.
Spread the same color across every cushion and surface, and it becomes background.
Use it selectively, and it becomes part of the memory of the house.
People remember the color that was given enough space to matter.
